So true! Thanks mom for sharing that. I know it wasn’t easy:)
]]>Hi Warren, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree, I wonder the same thing. However, I learned from this that even though I regretted not saying anything, God’s Truth prevailed! I don’t even know if his funeral was the right time to say anything. But I felt a strong desire to share the truth with His mother and step-father some time after the funeral because of what happened that day. I believe God will show us when is the right time. We need to be prepared to act when that time comes. I had opportunities to share Christ with this family member but I let my fear of him override the desire to share. I will forever regret that.
Thanks for your comments. Blessings:)
]]>Ultimately, God’s truth will prevail in ALL things and situations. What I wonder is, if I worry too much about what is appropriate to say vs. speaking the truth of a situation, am I on God’s side?
Good post to make us think!
]]>Abel, thank you very much. I am so blessed it encouraged you. My prayer is that his story would bring many to Christ. Even though he made wrong choices in life, God still had plan to use it for good. Jesus has the victory!!
Blessings to you 🙂
That is so true, Luther! Thank you sharing that.
Blessings:)
Thanks Mindy! I think we all struggle with it, whether out of fear or not knowing how to share Christ. God will help us as we follow His timing and leading.
I look forward to reading your blogs. I am out of town now but hope to read them when I return. Your husband’s blogs have been such a blessing.
All the best to your family:)
My husband told me to check you out. This blog was so beautiful. I have really been convicted this week with the lack of boldness on my part. I often feel like Moses when he begs God to send someone else. Thanks for reminding me of the price that I was bought with and the “burden” that comes with it.
Blessings!
