On true Biblical issues, of course we need to agree. But on things like man-made traditions we shouldn’t let that divide us. Some exceptions, of course, such as Jesus being the son of God. But, can Christians really agree on everything? The best way to do evangelism? The type of music to use in a service? No way. At least it doesn’t happen. But we can still be of one heart. I like that quote.

Thanks, Warren! Great comment. I completely agree. Not everyone who doesn’t agree with us is the enemy. I love what a preacher said one time, we don’t have to be united in mind but in heart. If our hearts serve the same Christ our difference in opinions shouldn’t keep us from walking in unity. It’s sad that’s how much of the body of Christ is today. Thanks for sharing. God bless:)

I know preachers who spend all their time attack the enemy (real or imagined) and don’t use the Bible in the positive ways you have mentioned here, such as equiping members. Another sad thing about just attacking the enemy – we too often attack people who simply have a different opinion from us, but who are not really the enemy.

We have faced the same things recently as Mindy and I have followed God’s call to write more, disciple more, and just to expand our little ministry in general. If we are faithful in the little things, which is often very hard, He is always faithful both in the little and the big.
