You’re welcome, Kerry:
James is a great book — as every book of the Bible is — and of course, I have notes all over the book of Proverbs, haha.
Kerry, what’s the Proverbs 31 study? I would love to get it. Thanks! Bless you:)
]]>I feel the same way, Ashley & Kerry, “Who am I to teach that?” But I am learning that God uses our weaknesses to keep us humble. If I was excelling at taming my tongue I might be prideful and come off as higher than others. But when I teach on an area I am weak in or used to be, I am compassionate and can relate to those who are struggling in the same area.
Thanks for stopping by, Ashley! Great comment. God bless:)
Wonderful article. I can relate to you when you said you should be the last person writing about this topic. Sometimes I feel led to write on a message and I think, “Really, Lord? Who am I to speak?” I think it helps others be encouraged that they aren’t the only ones struggling. Perhaps that is why.
Thanks for providing the exercises too. Very creative and helpful. Blessings.
]]>Thanks for your comments, Denny & Bryan!:) And thanks again, Kerry for sharing this timely message. Blessings to you all:)
]]>Thanks for your encouraging comment! And you’re right – the best use of our tongue is an instrument of praise for our Creator. God offers us amazing grace through Jesus, and we honor our Savior when we pass that grace on to others instead of criticizing them.
Thanks again for stopping by and commenting!
God Bless,
Kerry
